  4. While the brownies cool, whisk together mascarpone cheese, strong brewed coffee, and coffee liqueur until smooth.
  5. Spread the mascarpone mixture evenly over the cooled brownies.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
