Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain, aiming for pieces about ¼ inch thick.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Whisk together until smooth.
  3. Add the sliced flank steak to the slow cooker and pour the sauce over it, mixing gently.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 3 hours. For a thicker sauce, cook uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.
  5. Stir the beef gently and serve over rice or noodles, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
