Rice
  • 2 cups Rice White or brown; cauliflower for low-carb
Veggies
  • 1 cup Cucumbers Fresh and crunchy
  • 1 cup Carrots Shredded or sliced
  • 2 cups Spinach Can substitute with kale
Aromatics
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Minced fresh

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Prepare your rice according to package instructions, which takes about 15 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic and ginger for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks for about 5 minutes until browned.
  4. Stir in soy sauce and brown sugar, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
  5. Slice the cucumbers, shred the carrots, and rinse the spinach while the beef cooks.
  6. Assemble the bowls by placing rice at the bottom, topping with the beef mixture and preparing veggies on top.
