Cooking Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut off the tops and remove seeds and membranes from the bell peppers.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté for 3-4 minutes until soft.
- Stir in shredded chicken, cooked rice, and tomato sauce. Season with salt and pepper, cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Stuff the mixture into each prepared bell pepper, packing it gently to the top.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of each stuffed pepper.
- Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
