  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar Or coconut sugar, or stevia for low-sugar.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
For the Frosting
  • 2 tablespoons Greek Yogurt Dairy-free options available.
  • 2 tablespoons Cream Cheese Can be substituted with a dairy-free alternative.
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup or Powdered Sugar Adjust based on sweetness preference.

Preparation Steps
  1. Combine the protein powder, oat flour or almond flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt in a microwave-safe mug. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Add the egg, unsweetened almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Stir until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix coconut oil, brown sugar, and additional ground cinnamon to form a paste for the cinnamon swirl.
  4. Pour the cinnamon swirl mixture evenly over the cake batter and swirl gently with a toothpick.
  5. Microwave the mug cake for 60 to 90 seconds, until edges are set and center is slightly soft. Remove carefully.
  6. Mix the Greek yogurt, softened cream cheese, and maple syrup or powdered sugar until smooth for the frosting.
  7. Spread or drizzle the frosting over the warm cake and serve immediately.
