  • 2 tsp Baking Powder

  • 3 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Peel, core, and slice the apples into thin pieces.
  3. In a bowl, beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Mix baking soda, baking powder, and vanilla into the batter until just combined.
  6. Gradually pour in the milk, mixing until smooth and creamy.
  7. Fold in the flour gently until incorporated.
  8. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, layer apples, and then cover with remaining batter.
  9. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the cake batter.
