Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1/3 cup of Swerve confectioner's sugar substitute, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Blend until silky smooth.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture evenly across each tortilla and roll tightly to form a log shape.
- Place the rolled tortillas in the freezer for 1 hour to help firm them up.
- Once chilled, slice the rolled tortillas into even spirals, about 1 inch wide.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat and fry the sliced spirals until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Mix 2 tablespoons of Swerve granulated sugar substitute with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and sprinkle it over the warm bites.
