Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 8x8 inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamed corn, drained whole kernel corn, corn muffin mix, and sour cream. Mix until well-blended.
- Add melted butter and honey, then the beaten egg, salt and black pepper. Blend well.
- Fold the mixture gently until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
- Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and smooth the top. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for about 10-15 minutes before cutting into squares.
- Serve warm as a side dish.
