Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare a mini muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cake mix and flour until well combined.
  3. Add melted butter, egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture; stir gently until just combined.
  4. Scoop portions of the dough, roll them into balls, and coat in granulated sugar before placing them in the muffin tin.
  5. Bake for approximately 14 minutes until puffed and soft; do not let them brown.
  6. While cookies are warm, press indents into the centers to form cups using the handle of a spoon.
  7. Cool in the tin for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and heavy cream; microwave in 20-second increments until smooth.
  9. Spoon the warm ganache into each cookie cup, filling generously.
  10. Decorate with M&Ms to resemble bunny ears using one whole piece and two halved pieces.
  11. Let the ganache set for about 2 hours at room temperature before serving.
