- Pat the white fish fillets dry and season with salt and pepper. Lightly coat each fillet with all-purpose flour.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the coated fish fillets in the skillet undisturbed for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the fish from the skillet, tent with foil to keep warm while preparing the sauce.
- In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of butter and melt. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in fresh lemon juice and broth, scraping up browned bits. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the fish to the skillet, spooning sauce over to infuse flavor. Heat through for 1 minute.
- Serve on plates, garnished with chopped parsley. Enjoy immediately.
