Ingredients
  

For the Noodles
  • 200 grams Somyeon Noodles Thin wheat flour noodles
For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon Gochugaru Korean chili flakes
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce Gluten-free if needed
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Toasty aroma
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar Can substitute with apple cider vinegar
  • 1 clove Garlic Freshly minced preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Can substitute with agave syrup
For the Toppings
  • 1 Cucumber Thinly sliced
  • 1 Soft-Boiled Egg Halved
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds Nutty garnish
  • 1 Kimchi For extra zing

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and honey. Stir until it becomes a smooth sauce.
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add somyeon noodles and cook for 4-5 minutes until tender. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooled noodles with the prepared sauce and toss until noodles are evenly coated.
  4. Transfer noodles to serving plates, garnish with cucumber, soft-boiled egg, sesame seeds, and serve with kimchi.
