Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs, melted unsalted butter, and granulated sugar. Press into a 9-inch springform pan and bake for 10 minutes. Cool completely.
  3. In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add granulated sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully incorporated. Add the eggs one at a time, blending well.
  4. Gently sift in unsweetened cocoa powder, then add orange zest and juice, mixing until combined. Fold in optional chocolate chips.
