  • 8 slices Prosciutto Can substitute with thinly sliced ham
  • 8 oz Mozzarella Balls Bocconcini or burrata can be used
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano Fresh oregano can be used
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder Omit if preferred
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper Adjust to taste
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil Optional, can be replaced or omitted

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Carefully separate the prosciutto slices and lay them flat.
  3. Drain the mozzarella balls to remove excess moisture.
  4. If desired, cut the mozzarella balls in half for easier wrapping.
  5. Place a mozzarella ball at the center of each prosciutto slice and wrap it completely.
  6. In a small skillet, heat olive oil and add oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper for 30 seconds.
  7. Brush each wrapped bite with the seasoned oil mixture.
  8. Arrange the wrapped bites on the baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  10. Optionally, sprinkle with fresh basil before serving.
  11. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
