  • 1 cup Cooked Vermicelli Noodles Can swap with rice noodles
For the Filling

  • 1 cup Finely Chopped Cabbage Can use leafy greens like spinach
  • 1 cup Firm Tofu (or cooked shrimp) Grilled chicken or tempeh are alternatives
  • 2 stalks Green Onions Chives can be used as a substitute
For Flavor Enhancement
  • 1 tbsp Grated Ginger Can substitute with garlic
  • 1 clove Minced Garlic Can omit or reduce amount
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce Use tamari to keep it gluten-free
  • 1 tbsp Shaoxing Wine
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp Sugar

  • 2 sprays Oil Spray Opt for avocado oil for neutral taste

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Soak one rice paper sheet in warm water for 10–15 seconds until pliable. Let excess water drip off.
  2. Layer a small portion of cooked vermicelli noodles, shredded carrots, and finely chopped cabbage in the center of the soaked rice paper. Add protein if desired.
  3. Fold in the sides of the rice paper and roll tightly to secure the filling. Ensure the seam side is underneath.
  4. Use a light spray of oil to coat the exterior of each roll. This ensures a crispy finish.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Place the rolls seam-side down in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  7. Air fry the rolls for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
  8. Let the rolls cool slightly before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.
