  1. Start by preparing your chicken wings—remove the tips and split them at the joint for even cooking. Pat the wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, and pepper until they are evenly coated.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer in the fryer basket.
  4. Cook them for 25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  5. After 25 minutes, raise the temperature to 420°F (216°C) and cook the wings for an additional 5 minutes.
