  • 2 cups Fresh Broccoli Chopped into small florets
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Can be substituted with mozzarella
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Use gluten-free if needed
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Substitute fresh garlic for a stronger flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder Freshly chopped onions can be used
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Adjust to taste
  • 1 large Egg Can substitute with flax egg for vegan option

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease the basket with cooking spray.
  2. Wash and chop your broccoli into small, bite-sized florets. Blanch them in boiling water for 1-2 minutes, then drain and cool.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the blanched broccoli, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and egg. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Shape the mixture into bite-sized balls or patties of uniform size.
  5. Place the poppers in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
  6. Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through.
  7. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes before serving warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
