- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease the basket with cooking spray.
- Wash and chop your broccoli into small, bite-sized florets. Blanch them in boiling water for 1-2 minutes, then drain and cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the blanched broccoli, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and egg. Stir until well mixed.
- Shape the mixture into bite-sized balls or patties of uniform size.
- Place the poppers in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
- Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Allow to cool for a couple of minutes before serving warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
