- Drain the canned mixed fruit cocktail, crushed pineapple, and cherry pie filling thoroughly using a slotted spoon. Allow the fruits to sit in a fine-mesh strainer for about 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the drained mixed fruit, crushed pineapple, and cherry pie filling. Use a spatula to fold the fruits together softly.
- Cover the mixed fruit base with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
