Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through.
  2. In a pot, bring salted water to boil. Cook pasta until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. Melt butter in the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes. Add Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika, then pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, simmering until thickened.
  4. Lower the heat, stir in Parmesan cheese until melted, adjusting consistency with reserved pasta water as needed.
  5. Combine the pasta with the sauce, add sliced chicken, and adjust moisture with reserved pasta water if needed. Garnish with parsley and serve.
