Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. In a small bowl, mix coating ingredients and sprinkle evenly over batter.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and toothpick comes out clean.
