Step-by-Step Instructions for Cinnamon Coffee Crinkles
- In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt until well combined.
- In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of instant coffee granules with 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Stir well until dissolved.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together 1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter and 1 cup of brown sugar until smooth. Add in one large egg followed by the dissolved coffee mixture.
- Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Once chilled, scoop the dough with a tablespoon and roll into balls. Roll each ball in granulated sugar, followed by powdered sugar.
