- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and rub Cajun seasoning over both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Cook linguine in boiling salted water according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
- Sauté minced garlic in melted butter in the same skillet for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Toss linguine in the creamy sauce until well coated.
- Slice chicken and serve on top of linguine, garnished with parsley and optional red pepper flakes.
