Ingredients
  

For the Cauliflower Steaks

For the Seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper Adjust to taste.

  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
For the Buffalo Sauce
  • 1 cup Buffalo Sauce Opt for vegan or homemade.
  • 1/4 cup Vegan Butter Can be replaced with another plant-based fat.
  • 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar Lemon juice is a possible substitute.
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup Optional for sweetness.
For Garnish and Sides
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley or Chives For garnish.
  • 1 cup Celery Sticks Accompaniment.
  • 1 cup Carrot Sticks Accompaniment.

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse and pat dry the cauliflower, then slice into 1 to 1½ inch thick steaks.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment and arrange the cauliflower steaks.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and coat cauliflower.
  5. Roast cauliflower steaks in the oven for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Prepare the buffalo sauce by combining buffalo sauce, melted vegan butter, apple cider vinegar, and optional maple syrup in a saucepan.
  7. Brush the roasted cauliflower steaks with the prepared buffalo sauce and return to the oven for an additional 5–10 minutes.
  8. Garnish with parsley or chives and serve alongside celery and carrot sticks.
