Cooking Steps
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Rinse and pat dry the cauliflower, then slice into 1 to 1½ inch thick steaks.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment and arrange the cauliflower steaks.
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and coat cauliflower.
- Roast cauliflower steaks in the oven for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Prepare the buffalo sauce by combining buffalo sauce, melted vegan butter, apple cider vinegar, and optional maple syrup in a saucepan.
- Brush the roasted cauliflower steaks with the prepared buffalo sauce and return to the oven for an additional 5–10 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley or chives and serve alongside celery and carrot sticks.
