Ingredients
  

For the Sliders
  • 1 package Slider Buns or Hawaiian Rolls
  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef can substitute with ground turkey or chicken
  • 0.5 cup Finely Chopped White Onion
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For the Toppings
  • 2 cups Shredded Lettuce
  • 1 cup Dill Pickle Chips avoid sweet pickles
  • 8 slices American Cheese can substitute with mild cheddar or Colby Jack
For the Sauce
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sweet Pickle Relish
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic Powder
For the Finish
  • 2 tablespoons Melted Butter for brushing
  • to taste Sesame Seeds optional

Method
 

Steps
  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, sugar, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder. Stir until well-mixed and creamy. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the Beef Mixture: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and chopped onion. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for 8-10 minutes until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Assemble the Sliders: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and arrange the bottom buns inside. Spread sauce, followed by beef, cheese, and pickles.
  4. Bake the Sliders: Bake uncovered for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melty. Watch closely to prevent overbaking.
  5. Finish with Lettuce and Top Buns: Remove from the oven, add lettuce and more sauce, brush top buns with melted butter, and sprinkle sesame seeds. Return to the oven for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Serve the Sliders: Let cool slightly, slice for serving, and enjoy warm, optionally with extra sauce on the side.
