Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Air Fryer Loaded Potatoes
  1. Begin by washing and scrubbing your large russet potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt. Once clean, dry them well with a kitchen towel. Use a fork to prick each potato several times.
  2. Drizzle olive oil over the potatoes, ensuring to coat them evenly on all sides. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, rubbing the seasonings onto the skin for extra flavor.
  3. Carefully place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd them. Set the temperature to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 40-50 minutes.
  4. While the potatoes are cooking, prepare your favorite toppings. Cook and crumble the bacon, shred your cheese, and chop the green onions.
  5. Once the potatoes are cooked and tender, carefully slice them lengthwise. Fluff the insides with a fork, sprinkle the cheese, and return to the air fryer for 1-2 minutes.
  6. After the cheese has melted, remove the potatoes from the air fryer. Top with bacon, sour cream, and green onions. Serve hot.
